Flour Garden

A Moda Fabric

Flour Garden is a beautiful fabric collection designed by Linzee Kull McCray. It was inspired by the flour sack fabrics from the 1930's. The dainty flowers and color palette reminds me of the dresses they used to wear back in the early 1900's.

I absolutely love the color combinations McCray uses in this collection. The mints, grays, yellows, and blues have a vintage spin on them, again, taking me back to what used to be. But pull out certain prints and colors and one can easily make a modern looking quilt or project.

Flour Garden is a fun collection with multiple flower prints, but also includes a 'lattice' print in white, gray, and mint.

If I could just pick on thing to make with this fabric, I think I would choose a dress or skirt. I have a vintage-looking dress in a similar mint, floral fabric, and I love it.

Just look at all these fabric options! I feel like they are bursting with potential.
